Hi,
I currently have Qlik SaaS spaces set up with AD groups, so a user can be added to an AD group and gain those permissions to the space.
I need to be able to add that group (lets call it QLIK_PERMS) to another AD group (lets call it LOCAL_PERMS) that the users are a part of. So it'd be like USER is a part of LOCAL_PERMS which is a part of QLIK_PERMS which has access to a space.
However we've noticed that if we do this, the users don't gain permissions to the space
Is this way of managing AD groups with Qlik possible? My assumption is that it should be, but I can see a scenario where Qlik is granting permissions to the space to the second group (LOCAL_PERMS) but not passing those permissions down to the user
Hello @BobbyJBS,
I was asking because the documentation mentions that nested groups on Azure AD are currently not supported, so such might be the issue.
Kindly check - Creating a new identity provider configuration | Qlik Cloud Help

Ok yeah that'll be why it's not working then. Thanks!
