When you use a Signed Lincense Key in using NPrinting, NPrinting licensing
service tries to connect to the license server license.qlikcloud.com,
but there is no way to know if the NPrinting licensing service is connecting
to the license server properly at the moment.
There are NPringing license logs in the following directory
ProgramData\NPrinting\License\Logs
And even if the following request's statusCode" is "200", you still can't
know if this request was successful in connecting to license.qlikcloud.com.
request
{"name":"V1LicensesAllotmentsProvisionListPost","req.method":"POST",
"req.url":"/v1/licenses/allotments/provision/list","res.statusCode":"200"}
The statusCode "200" is returned if the period is within delayed sync or
not after certain period of days.
The reason I'd like the feature to be implemented is that our customers
suddenly were not able to use the product after serveral days they changed
the proxy server or upgraded the product and license.config was overwritten
in upgrading the product.
It would be good if the NPrinting licensing service detects that
it was not able to connect to license.qlikcloud.com, the message appears
on the console of NPrinting or a mail message is sent to the
administrators.
