Suggest an Idea

Hello All,

There is an idea to have the Active Sheet Id. I think this would be a huge improvement to also get the Active Sheet Name, leading to many use case, and an easy one.

Hello.

To be honest, i didn't found the idea while I was searching it (despite the fact i have voted for it a long time ago 😄 ). However, it's not exactly a duplicate since this idea also covers the sheet name (a name I need for some object change between sheets).

Thanks for the note - the Idea search isn't that great imo.

@Meghann_MacDonald do you want to split this up and have mine as the Id, and Simon's as the Name property ? They are slightly different plus the Id one has a bit of traction already.

On the topic of duplicates, I previously suggested using SaaS for the ideation boards : https://community.qlik.com/t5/Suggest-an-Idea/Ideate-by-SaaS/idi-p/1817731 but it was never picked up. I still think it would add tremendous value and might also provide better duplicate idea prevention ?

Hi all, yes, I think if @simonaubert can change his topic/title to be focuses on sheet name that would eliminate issues. 

We are currently making some changes internally to Ideation and I will aim to start working on a public version of our SaaS app for ideas after that - Q4 or after time frame (The app is also what I use to find duplicates as the search capability is infinitely better).
