Adding a built in FTP connector in Qlik Sense Cloud

So far it is not possible to fetch data from an FTP server when using Qlik Sense Business, i.e. in the Cloud environment. The Qlik FTP/SFTP connector uses localhost in the url to find the respective file, which does not work in the cloud because localhost does not exist in that context. However, there are situations where companies only allow to fetch data from FTP servers. Therefore, I suggest to add this option.

no problem, it just takes forever to get a connector and then its just not what we need.

Same with Google Drive support in Automations... only OneDrive is supported.

Hi,

is it possible to use the SFTP SaaS Connector for Up and Downloads?
This is for us nearly a Showstopper not to go to SaaS what would be a pitty.

Thanks and best regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

Yes the SFTP Connector in Qlik Sense Cloud supports both loading data from the SFTP server and the use of the STORE command uploading data into files.
