At Shell, we have just deployed a new Qlik front end to a P&L sign off process and we are using Write! to capture outputs/feedback to our data tables

When using an apostrophe (‘) in the MATERIALITY AND COMMENTS field of the Sign off screen (Qlik) - see attached for visual - it prevents the user from saving the record. Why would an apostrophe, a standard character in common use in writing/messaging, be excluded from normal use?  Can this please be added to the functionality (along with all keyboard characters)?  

This currently affects ~30 energy traders where potential to report on P&L is a daily function.

That is question for the provider of the extension input form: Write!,  I suggest reaching out to them to parse apostrophes and escape them. Apostrophes have a special meaning in Sense.
