I use Sharepoint Connector in Qlik Web Connector.

When I change my Microsoft account password or the authentication token has expired,
I need to update the token manually. That is a bit troublesome for me.

So can this procedure be automated or simplified?

Hi,

The automatic refresh of the authentication token has recently been implemented in a number of connectors in Qlik Sense SaaS, including in the Office 365 SharePoint Connector. However, there is currently no plan to add this to the standalone Qlik Web Connectors.

Hi @Anjali_Vellaikambadi, there is nothing to implement. The only constraint is that your connection must be used within a reload, scheduled or manually triggered, any time within 90 days. Then a new 90 day “timeout” is initiated. Please, note that the automatic refresh of the token only works with the connectors in Qlik Cloud, i.e. not in Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows or Qlik Web Connectors standalone.

Do you know if the automatic refresh of the authentication token will also be implemented in Qlik Sense Entreprise on Windows ? Is it on the roadmap ?
