Default Search Mode with wildcards

In Qlikview we have the "Default search mode" options in the listbox properties
→ wildcard search automatically adds wildcards to the user input

Would be nice in Sense as well!
Currently we face the following problem:

QlikView users are expecting the same feature in QlikSense. Please add it in the next release.

Hi,

We really need this functionality. All work arounds I'm thinking about are not user-friendly so not used at all...

Our need is to have an exact search for each item in a list that is copy/pasted in the search filter.

Like :

ER01 ER02 ER04 ER08

And not looking for ER01-100 ER02-100 etc...

Thanks...

Shipped in Qlik Cloud in the new Filter Box yesterday.

Hope this will appear in Qlik Sense on premise soon!

Plus some QlikView style grid views (only took five years!) and a nicer way of getting to filter options that don't fit on the screen:

The UI for setting them up will take a little getting used to, but shouldn't take long. As you say, I hope it comes through on Client Managed soon or dealing with both will be a mind bender.

Will have to play with some of the other options too.

I don't think they look quite as polished as the previous filter boxes (colour of apply filter buttons etc.) but that might just be me needing to get used to them.

Going to have to update my training course material again for the new changes.

Wildcard search should be enabled on app level, now you have to change every single object.
