Fetching CLOB Columns from Oracle source DB irrespective of events applied to it with Qlik Replicate
In a Replication integration implemented in Global Furniture retailer , we have come accross an issue replicating the CLOB towards the Google Cloud Storage when the CLON in the source Oracle DB is not updated or inserted.
As per the Product regular behavior, we have noticed that CLOB are fetched as 'Null' when there is no event is applied to the clob, which can also a possible scenario in the usecase i.e Clob can be update with Null or inserted as Null.
hence the request is to , this would be better that if Replicate can fetch the CLOB value always irrespectively whether it got updated or Inserted in the __ct table envelope and also print the before image when we select the 'Before and after Image ' with on Update event option.
