Currently Qlik Sense only uses md5 authentication method in the PostgreSQL database. Which is less secure.
It should be possible to use the scram-sha-256 authentication method in the PostgreSQL.
Already possible - see Database security ‒ Qlik Sense for administrators. Only appears in the Nov 2021 documentation, so I'm guessing it's a new option.
