QEM is working great, to great. What we are experiencing:
If a router or WAN link blinks for just a second or two, QEM Notices and places an page to our replication on call team. It picks up on both the down and up and notifies. The replication team actually knows more about small network blinks than our comm team. But such a short network outage is not reported by any other tool. We consider 5-10 minutes of outage as significant and pages are then placed to our comm team after that time has lapsed. I would like a notification timeframe added to the monitored alert. Example, If the Replicate server loses contact for more than 5 minutes report it to the On Call. Usually The replication on call will then involve the comm team If they are unaware.
