We would like to setup alerts that would send the alert to an email that's in the data model. Rather than creating 200 alerts for sales reps it would be easier if we could create a single alert that would send something to the impacted sales rep based on a threshold. For example (these are simple examples, not the actual example)
- I would like a sales rep and their manager to receive an alert email when an opportunity is past due.
- I would like a sales rep to receive an email about a part being out of stock for an order they have submitted (or an opportunity they have that's about to close)
Alternatively, is there an API we could use to populate large numbers of alerts so they don't have to be manually created for each user?
