Could you add the ability to trigger a Qlik Sense app to run in Qlik Data Transfer using third party scheduling software?   Having the ability to run a qlik app using a third party scheduer adds flexibility in being able to schdule QVD creation that is not just based on the same time each day but on other business events occuring.   Some things only need to run on weekdays but we run every day becuase there is no way to only run on weekdays.  Some events occasionally run longer than normal and when they do we now need to manually run as its past their scheduled time to run.

 @Ian_Crosland Are you reffering to Direct Access or Data Movement?  Direct Access doesn't look like it connects to text files or create QVD's so it doesn't look like it would work.  Data Movement looks like you need to use a Linux server.  We  only run Windows.

@qlikuser2021 I am referring to the Direct Access utility, more data source support is planned, next up generic ODBC and then onto file support
