In Qlik replicate UI the count shown for change data capture does not match the records written in target within the __ct table. (Store changes)
This happens in following scenarios:
a) The counters for CDC events such as Updates would not correlate with the actual rows that were supposed to be updated on the target. The reason for these are "empty updates" or updates that have had no impact on the target, which have not been applied.
b) The tasks have been stopped and resumed in such case the table counter resets on Qlik Replicate GUI.
Below features should be added to address above problems:
1) If an update is not applied to target in scenarios as explained in above in point (a) - UI should also show the counts of records that were not applied for such reasons.
2) In scenarios when a task is stopped and resumed the counters should not be reset and resume counting from last value.
In principle the counter shown on Qlik Replicate UI and the counts of records stored in target (store changes) should be same.
