"Hide rows if" in Straight and Pivot tables

Qlik,

Kindly add "Hide rows if" to the Data handling (in add-ons) to Straight and Pivot Tables.

Right now, the only way to emulate this is using SET Analysis which I feel is not straightforward.

This is a good way to restrict some of the records that we want to hide.

Hello @SGV ,

I think it's basically the same idea than this one :

Best regards,

Simon

I have checked your Idea before, based on what I understood it is more along the lines of "Show rows if" which is different from what I have.

@SGV   Hide row if  A = Show row if (not A) so yes, it's the same  😉

Simon,

It technically is but with your condition the user has to specify all the
dimensions in the where clause, whereas with my suggestion the user need
only specify the dimensional values he/she wants to exclude.

This is a sizeable difference. Cheers mate 😊.

@Ian_Crosland Any update on above request... This will reduce the need to use explicit Set Analysis and make it easy for the end user to reduce the scope of the data.
