Hi, one nice touch to an app would be the possibility of pinning a Dimension to the Selection Bar, to allow the customer to select directly from the Selection Bar and not cluttering the dashboards with filter panels, especially if the dimensions to select on are few but used in the application in all dashboards.
This also solves the fact that if you open the Selections menu you cannot see the impact of the selection directly on the charts.
I can only think this is an ideation requiring product engineering, to the extent that always one selected value against the required dimension would need to also offer always a minimum of one selected value instead. In doing so, multiple selections in that dimension would remain possible (e.g. not restricted to one) yet the minimum aspect results in one having to always be selected, essentially resulting in 'dimension pinning'.

Nice idea. This would certainly be a useful function.
One way to get close to this might be to have a trigger on opening sheets that selects all possible values in the dimensions that you want to pin. This way they would appear on the selections bar as there will be a selection in the field?
this certainly looks like an interesting workaround that would apply in most cases that come to my mind, and hopefully the Sheet Actions will get more and more options in the near future.
