Insight Advisor Chat not showing in Qlik Sense Hub

The button Ask Insight Advisor is missing in the Hub on Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows. See Fig 1.

Environment:

  • Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows, all versions

 

Resolution

 

Verify the version of Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows being November 2020 or later. Insight Advisor Chat is not available in earlier versions.

Verify the license for Qlik Sense Enterprise includes any of the following two LEF attributes to be entitled for Insight Advisor Chat:

  • INSIGHTBOT
  • INSIGHT_ADVISOR_CHAT

 

Verify the capability flag HUB_CHAT is set to "enabled":true in capabilities.json for the Qlik Sense Capabilities Service (C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\CapabilityService)

Restart Qlik Sense services after making any changes to the capabilities.json file to verify Ask Insight Advisor button will show in the Hub. See Fig 2.

Hello,

We don't see Ask Insight Advisor even if we have Qlik Sense  November 2020 release on Windows and   flag HUB_CHAT is set to "enabled":true in capabilities.json. 

It's true that  the attribute INSIGHT_ADVISOR_CHAT is missing from our LEF, but how could we add this , it's a seperate license even for Insight Advisor chat ?

Hello @Acrodata 

To get the tag added to your LEF, please get in touch with your account manager to have the license modified. 

Though I'm getting some verification right now what LEF tag you need and will update you here once I know more.

@Acrodata Just a quick update for you: 

INSIGHTBOT or INSIGHT_ADVISOR_CHAT are the correct tags to add to the LEF.   Though regardless, please contact your account manager to have the license updated.
