NPrinting - Information Gathering Checklist

In order to speed up the analysis and processing of NPrinting related cases, please describe the issue by providing Qlik Support with the following information:

  •  Your Qlik NPrinting - 16 Digit Product License key
  • The version of NPrinting that you have installed, for example: NPrinting Nov. 2019 SRx, NPrinting June 2020 SR1... etc
  • If using NPrinting with QlikView:
    • Which version is in use? for example in the format: QV Nov 2019 SRx, QV April 2020 SRx etc..
    • Is the version of QlikView Desktop installed on the NP Server/Engine the same version as the QlikView Server?
    • What type of connections do you use to the Documents? is it a QVP or a local connection?
    • What Operating system is on the QlikView server? Windows 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019?
  • If using NPrinting with Qlik Sense:
    • Which version of Qlik Sense is in use? for example in the format: QS June 2020 Patch 1, QS Sept 2020 Patch 2
    • What Operating system is on the Qlik Sense server? Windows 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019?
  • Are you upgrading or installing and configuring NPrinting for the first time? Perhaps a new TEST environment? Or is this an existing installation?
  • Is NPrinting installed on the same server as either QlikView or Qlik Sense?
  • When did you first notice the problem? Has this ever worked before?
  • Have there been any recent changes in the environment?, have you performed an Upgrade or Migration on your system?
  • Are you able to reproduce the same problem in a different environment?
  • Can you describe the specific steps to help us reproduce this behaviour?
  • Can you record and upload a video that shows the behaviour? How To: Windows 10 Screen Recording Utility 
  • Can you provide screenshots that demonstrate the behaviour?
  • Please list all troubleshooting steps you have taken up to this point in an attempt to resolve the issue.
  • Can you provide a timestamp of when you reproduced the issue?
  • What errors did you find in the NPrinting logs and Windows Event Logs during the times you saw the issue?
  • For NPrinting On Demand, please enable HAR logging in the browser then run through the steps to reproduce the issue: Save network web traffic (HAR/XML file) and console logs from the browser's developer tools
  • Please provide the NPrinting Log Files located in - C:\ProgramData\NPrinting\Logs
  • Please provide the Windows Event logs - How to collect Windows Event logs 
  • Please also provide Technical details of the NP, QS or QV host server/machines and NPrinting Designer Desktop (where applicable):
