In response to the current outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the health and safety of everyone in our Qlik community is a top priority as we protect our ability to serve our customers globally. Qlik continues to monitor the situation and follow the international health authority recommendations and the requirements of state, provincial and local governments.

In the past few weeks, Qlik has enacted and adjusted precautionary measures based on local situations and government guidance. Currently, we have travel bans to China, South Korea and Italy and have restricted international travel. In addition, anyone with chronic medical conditions are advised to postpone travel, and we are encouraging virtual meetings when possible.

We are conducting business impact assessments and implementing business continuity plans to mitigate risk of any potential support disruption. As you know, Qlik has a presence in many locations around the world to serve over 50,000 customers. We have a large remote workforce that gives us built in business resiliency and we have business continuity plan (BCP) capabilities. We are working with customers on active professional services engagement and taking precautionary measures as agreed together on a case-by-case basis. Our Support team is based around the globe in office and remote locations and we do not anticipate any disruption in customer support.

Qlik Corporate Responsibility is working with global organizations to assist with the response to the outbreak including Qlik Analytical Application development for the Global Private Sector Roundtable (PSRT). The PSRT was formed by private sector companies including Qlik, J&J, GE, Novartis, Merck, Chevron, UPS and many others to partner with agencies like the CDC and WHO to form a cohesive voice in support of health systems strengthening around the globe. The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) is using Qlik to power their COVID-19 site. And, we’re also working with partners like Direct Relief and Team Rubicon to provide analytical support for timely response and support to the effected regions and individuals.

We value your continued partnership and confidence in Qlik.  As needed, we will continue to provide relevant updates to any affected customers. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Daniel Coullet VP Global Support.
