New IP Provider for Qlik GeoAnalytics Connector!

Hello Qlik Users!

On June 23^rd, 2021, the Qlik GeoAnalytics connector in Qlik Cloud Services switched to a new provider, “DB-IP Lite”! The new provider will be available in the upcoming Qlik GeoAnalytics data package, EnterpriseDataPackage-21.05 for on-prem clients.

With the new provider, you will see over 900 data points for city names when using the IPLookup function! The previous provider only had 376 data points for city names.

The new provider does not have data for Adm1Code. For existing apps using Adm1Code, you may see a few different errors. Please see the following article for more information on this change:

Hey there @Jamie_Gregory ,

after the update, will this article still be relevant? City names are not recognized by Qlik Sense 
For those that use the regular map, without GeoAnalytics connector, will there be any change?
