Be aware that the last Release notes link is actually the link for the exe file!

Hi @Jamie_Gregory

If we want to upgrade from June 2020 SR1 to Sept 2020 SR3. After the main upgrade to Sept 2020, do we need to install the 3 patches one by one? or Can we directly install patch 3?

Thank you!

Regards,

Sujeet Shirude

You will have to install September 2020 first and after that can directly install patch 3.

This is the standard way of doing updates. If they divert from this standard, they should and will mention this to avoid a lot of customer trouble.

@sujeet_shirude Yes, @oknotsen is correct. You must install the IR first (in this case September 2020) and then patch. If you try to install SR3, you should get a message stating that September 2020 cannot be found or something similar.

Also, in the download site, you'll notice that the IR file is named Qlik_Sense_Setup.exe and the patches are named Qlik_Sense_Update.exe. There is a discrepancy between the files sizes as well.
