Meet Damien!



About Damien:

I am Damien and I work in the Lund Qlik Support Office, Sweden.

My main focus is Qlik APIs and authentication.


Damien’s tip:

The browser dev tools are very powerful tools to troubleshoot what is happening in the front end in web applications, including Qlik Products.

In Qlik Sense, amongst other things, it lets you visualize all requests to the Qlik Engine if you click on the WebSocket connection and go to the “Messages” tab.



When getting errors such as “Access Denied” returned by the Qlik Engine, you will be able to trace back exactly which object is returning the error by filtering on the requests IDs and objects handles.
