Mike Tarallo has two sessions scheduled this month for his ‘Do More with Qlik’ webinar series.
The first session is tomorrow, August 6th at 2pm EDT/11am PDT. Mike will cover the basics of set analysis and explore some advanced features so you can become a set analysis master!
Set analysis, if you’re unfamiliar, is a way to define a group of data values, independent of the current selections. A simple example would be filtering the dataset to only show sales for a specific year. Instead of filtering the entire app by selecting the Year value in a table, you could write an expression to be used as a column in a table or a chart to show the value:
Sum({$<Year={2019}>} Sales)
The above expression would give you the sum of sales for the year 2019. If you’re new to development or looking for a refresher, this is bound to be a great session!
The second session for the month is August 20th at 2pm EDT/11am PDT. Mike will be joined by former Qlikkie and now Industry Solutions Director of Vizlib, Joe Warbington. They will show you how to design custom visuals within Qlik Sense using Vizlib extensions. Joe will also walk through a use case based on mainstream entertainment data as well as how to build it! If you’re new to the world of extensions or want to see the possibilities using extensions, you don’t want to miss this!
