We are happy to share with you the new Entitlement Analyzer for Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS! This application will enable you to answer questions like:

  • How can I track the usage of my Tenant over time? How are my entitled users using the Tenant?
  • How can I better understand the usage of Analyzer Capacity vs. Analyzer & Professional Entitlements?

The Entitlement Analyzer is only available for Qlik Cloud subscription types. Refer to the compatibility matrix within the Qlik Cloud Monitoring Apps repository for an overview of which monitoring app is compatible with which subscription type.

The Entitlement Analyzer app provides insights on:

  • Entitlement usage overview across the Tenant
  • Analyzer Capacity – Detailed usage data and a predication if you have enough
  • How users are using the system and if they have the right Entitlement assigned to them
  • Which Apps are used the most by using the NEW "App consumption overview" sheet
  • And much more!

The Entitlement Analyzer uses a new API Endpoint to fetch all the required data and will store the history in QVD files to enable even better Analytics over time.

 A few things to note:

  • This app is provided as-is and is not supported by Qlik Support.
  • It is recommended to always use the latest app.
  • Information is not collected by Qlik when using this app.

The app as well as the configuration guide are available via GitHub, linked below.

Any issues, questions, and enhancement requests should be opened on the Issues page within the app’s GitHub repository.

I am using app "EntitlementAnalyzer v1.2.11".
The rest connection is working.
Then I have the following 3 qvd files.
・entitlement_analyzer_Assignments_1.2.11.qvd
・entitlement_analyer_Consumption_Overview_1.2.11.qvd
・entitlement_analyer_Consumption_1.2.11.qvd

At the dashboard, I can see data of "Professional units" only.
How can I load data of "Professional units per space/app" ,"Top 5 capacity users" and others?

Hi

A recent Qlik update (see below) allows Users to track sheet usage

Has the script been adjusted in the latest release to allow App sheet usage to be shown if required

If not how can I change the script to obtain these details

Thanks Robert

  • Provide app sheet usage data to customers

    5/28/2024Admin and Management

Beginning today, the event com.qlik.v1.analytics.analytics-app-client.sheet-view.opened will begin appearing in the Events section of the Management Console and Audits API. This event logs each time a sheet is viewed in an app. With this information, you can track sheet usage within your analytics applications.

@oelick

Did you ever figure out the answer to question 2? I am having an issue where some users with an entitlement assigned are showing the all of these fields as null in the app. But if I load the assignments qvd in a separate app the data is there for all users. I did find that CurrentAssigneeType is populated for all users. I believe Entitlement_Assigned is sourced from the type field on the assignments table and again all users have data for this field in the Assignments qvd. Whereas CurrentAssigneeType is sourced from the rest connector master table. I'm just confused why if the data is in the assignments qvd, why its not being populated in the app visuals. I assume some logic in the load script is causing an issue but I have yet to find it.

[question2]
The items referenced as credentials are as follows.
I would like to know the difference between each.
1 Entitlement_Assigned
2 Consumed Entitlement
3 Current entitlement
4 Entitlement
5 Entitlement_Consumed
For users whose credentials are not reflected correctly,
Regarding 2 and 5, the analyzer_time information is included, but the professional information is not reflected, and all 5 items above are displayed as [-].
