Hi all Qlik Customers,
Summer, at least in northern parts, is here and along with that Qlik has a bumper crop of releases for you. Qlik Sense June 2018 is now available with a host of new features. You can find information about new features and functionality in Sense June 2018 Qlik Sense Product Innovation Blog. Qlik Sense June 2018 includes the first iteration of Qlik Sense Multi-Cloud which is a new feature and is license controlled. Access to Qlik's Multi-Cloud release is being controlled so we can ensure the best possible customer experience and keep you updated on key developments, best practices and resources to assist with your project success. Please contact your local Qlik Account Manager or Qlik Partner for specific details on how to gain access to the release.
With the June 2018 Qlik Sense Enterprise release, Qlik will introduce updates which streamline the Qlik Sense client packaging through the introduction of Webpack, a new technology for module bundling JavaScript® applications. The introduction of Webpack technology will impact a subset of extensions and mashups that make use of unsupported internal Qlik Sense libraries or “private libraries” as described below. Any solution, i.e. mashups or extensions that make use of a “private” Qlik Sense library should continue to function, but as with all upgrades, testing of your solutions is strongly recommended. To address the need for use of these unsupported private libraries, Qlik will explore additional public APIs in forthcoming releases. See the attached FAQ for further information.
Qlik NPrinting June 2018 is also released along with GeoAnalytics June 2018. You can find information on NPrinting features and fixes in the attached release notes.
All of our releases are now available on our download site. As always if you have any questions please contact Qlik Support through chat, telephone or through the Support Portal.
Kind regards
Global Support Team
