Qlik NPrinting Engine May 2022 SR2 issue: Missing columns data

A defect was discovered in the Qlik NPrinting Engine May 2022 SR2 release, which affects connections to Qlik Sense client-managed.

We advise holding on upgrading Qlik NPrinting to the May 2022 SR2 version and instead upgrading directly to SR3 (Qlik NPrinting May 2022 SR3).

Impact:

Only connections to Qlik Sense client-managed are impacted on the following Qlik NPrinting version:

• Qlik NPrinting May 2022 SR2

Resolution:

Upgrade to Qlik NPrinting May 2022 SR3.

Could you give us more information about this defect?
I.e. does it happen with all QS client-managed releases or only with some? Are there any specific circumstances on which this issue happens?

It happens with all Qlik Sense client-managed connections. As for the second question: let me reach out to our developers!

The circumstances which trigger the issue are difficult to predict, which is why we have chosen to recommend not using SR2 for the time being and waiting for SR3 (or if SR2 is already in place, swapping back to the SR1 engine).

Hi @Sonja_Bauernfeind, I am using May 2022 SR1 version of NPrint.

While previewing the data of the HTML report, some columns do not display data despite data existing in the app. The columns do not show data at random with each preview. attaching a screenshot for reference. All columns should display values in this case, but are showing up with no data in preview

May 2022 SR 3 has been release as of Tuesday Nov. 21, 2022
