I'm trying to work on INOVERT DISPOR message files in talend but i have trouble using EDIFACT component. Does anyone know if you can process those files on Talend ? If so how do you configure components ? What components are you using (if your using customs for exemple) ? Thx in advance.
For complex Mapping, complex/hierarchical files surch as XML, JSON, EDIFACT, Mainframe COPYBOOK file format; Talend provide a dedicated Mapping solution named Talend Data Mapper which comes with a tHMap component.
I don't have this component in TIS. Also datamapping is not really the problem since you can map everything with tMaps or other components but the edifact compenent creates you an XML document with all the fields named so you don't even need the edifact dictionnary to understand it.
