we have sometime some issues while merging our git branches of our talend project managed with Talend Studio.
we have noticed that the file .settings/relationship.index is wrongly cleanup while merging, causing some issues with the talend jobs that use subJob with tRunJob components (Context Default properties file of the sub job is not being generated after the build).
What is the purpose of this file ? How is it manage ? Is there any way to rebuild/regenerate it from Talend Studio Project ? as I said, sometimes, after a git merge, we lose most of the content of this file, resulting in multiple unexpected behavior

In a nutshell, the index file contains the local GIT modifications which need committing to the remote repository.
What's your git server and what's error message are you getting when merging your git branches of our talend project managed with Talend Studio? Could you please post some trouble screenshots here?
