Sql not terminated properly

Hi I have an oracle query extracting record from a table. This job was working fine until I introduced the context variable to be used in the where clause. Once I used the same I started getting the sql not terminated properly 933 error. I am not able to decipher how to resolve this problem. This is a batch job. Thos job fails only in the RemoteEngine but not in the Talend Studio. I am using Talend Studio 7.3.1 and the RemoteEngine is running on a Linux server.

Hello,

Could you please show us your oracle query with context variable? Is there any compile error when you open code tab? We will appreciate if you could post the full error message here.

Best regards

Sabrina

The problem was that in TMC I was getting my context variable with a value which was put inside quotes 'InviteeAddedToList' which had to be changed to InviteeAddedToList to get this to work. The same thing worked on TalendStudio, its weird as to why I had to change the way the value was defined. If it failed in TMC it should have also failed TalendStudio.

Hello,

Did you set context value with double quote in Studio? If so when you publish the job to Cloud, it appends a double quote and hence making it 2 double quotes and the job fails in the Cloud.

Please set context value without the double quotes. By design string values should be set without double quotes.

Best regards
