GDIT is currently seeking a Qlik Sense Developer in RTP, NC to join our team. In this role you will be working with a multidisciplinary team of data and Geospatial experts working to develop, deploy, and maintain Qlik Sense applications and services on a large enterprise system. You will also be providing high quality and timely Qlik Sense technical support for our Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) federal government customer.
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain custom Qlik Sense applications and services utilizing the most recent Qlik Sense software suites, Python, JavaScript, R Shiny and other open source programs based on customers’ requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the project team and other technical and business groups to develop, deploy, document, and maintain Qlik Sense applications and services on large enterprise systems.
- Conduct comprehensive tests for Qlik Sense applications and services on large enterprise systems that will help to improve performance and reliability.
- Design, develop, and maintain data visualization related databases in different formats based on customer requirements.
- Follow development and implementation procedures, including the development and execution of test plans, change control and development of system documentation.
- Provide Qlik Sense technical help desk support for customers from a large Federal Government organization. Help Desk support will range from simple “how to” questions from new users to more complicated Qlik Sense application troubleshooting.
- Work in an interdisciplinary team of data scientists and Geospatial specialists.
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, data analytics, or Geospatial science and 2+ years of experience.
- Proven experience with Qilk Sense desktop and cloud development.
- Excellent communication skills to handle direct support of Qlik Sense end users.
It would be great if you also had:
- Familiarity with the Esri GIS software suite.
- Familiarity with Geospatial analysis.
- Qlik Sense experience with large enterprise systems.
