I need help!!!
I am completely new to Qlik Sense. I have read a few of the community pages, but yet have to find a solution of what I am trying to achieve.
Below a demo of the layout I would like to display in my app. Lines below are already setup as a measure. The below is basically a sum of my massive table that I have setup.
Sales Movement & Variances | |
Description | Amount R'000 |
2020 Mar YTD Sales | 78,704 |
Existing lines - No mix variance | -670 |
Existing lines - Mix variance | -636 |
Discontinued lines | -1,463 |
2021 Mar YTD Existing lines sales | 75,935 |
Price variance | 743 |
2021 Mar YTD Existing lines sales | 76,678 |
New lines | 5,376 |
2021 Mar YTD Sales | 80,715 |
Growth | 2,011 |
Growth % | 2.56% |
From the table below, I would then like to turn it into a BarChart. Any advise/guidance will be much appreciated.
drag the bar chart and drop it on your table then replace.
Hi @Melissa2
If you want to convert the table into Bar chart, then drag and drop bar chart onto the Table then you will get three options, click on "Convert to : Bar chart"
Hope this answer helps you!
From the values you have it looks more like you would want to create a waterfall chart. If you have the values specified as master items you can create a waterfall and drag them onto it. You might want to play around with the subtotals instead of adding your calculated totals. Don't really see how to add the % though
Thank you all for advise so far.
Looks like the waterfall chart might be an option (thank you Jbhappysocks), however I would still like to create the table as posted above first.
I also have another question - How do one convert a column to a row?
Sorry, I thought you had that table already
You will need to create that as a pivot table, add all measures and set Values as rows.
