Issue with copying/duplicating charts inside a Qlik Sense container

In a Qlik Sense dashboard, I have a container with two table charts. The issue is that Chart 1 does not allow me to copy, cut, or duplicate it, while Chart 2 inside the same container does allow it.

Could this be a bug in Qlik Sense, a specific chart setting, or something else that is causing this difference in behavior?

Hi @bnkpl93 ,

I am not able to reproduce the behaviour. Does this happen on any app, or just specific ones? What happens if you duplicate one of the affected apps and try to work on the duplicate?

Today I tried again without making any changes, and now it allowed me to copy the chart 🙂😮.

I’m using Qlik Cloud.

It was the same issue that @bnkpl93 described in their screenshot — when trying to paste, it would paste the previously copied chart instead of the one I had just copied.

The container I’m using is “Contenedor de pestañas” (Tabs container in Spanish, since my Qlik Cloud is in Spanish).

My intention was to copy the chart outside of the container, and it also didn’t allow me to copy it from the “See container options” menu.

Good to know it's solved. It might be that, for some reason, some session got stuck yesterday.
Please, let me know if it comes back!

I've got this issue too on a Tab container.

I try to copy a pivot table from inside it & when I paste, it contains a button that I copied to the clipboard long before. Duplicate for this chart doesnt work either.

Apparently the problem appears randomly and ends without any apparent actions, mine has ended the next day after I wrote .

While that's good news in some regard, it's severely limiting my productivity! 🙂

Hi @Oggy172 : can you please open a support case mentioning this discussion?
Please, provide as much details as possible (appid, timestamp, username). It would be good if you could capture a har file while reproducing the issue.
R&D is already investigating this.
