Show dates based on other field

Hi,

I have a table with the following info:

As you can see I have my main field "Effective date"

Then I have the first column presenting my the cycles based on the effective date.

And then the 2nd column which represents the date an employee was active based on their start and end date. This is then converted into the same cycle logic as with effective date.

I would like to be able to filter on this active cycle. 

- When I select 2017/2018, then effective date and effective cycle should show the dates corresponding with this filter.

- When I select 2018/2019, the same idea. But as you can see in my sample table, the person with ID '3' doe not have an effective date in this cycle. So when I would link the fields together and I select active cycle 2018/2019 the person with ID '3' will not be presented. I would like this person to be shown in the table, but then with null values for the dates, as he was still active in the period, but simply did not have a move.

Anyone that can help here?
