Is there some external utility to delete all variables from a Qlik Sense App ?

Hi,

This extension (in development) is a starting point for your need to delete all design variables.

By default, no option is thicked. Set them to delete variables.

Deleting all variables can consume a lot of CPU resource. Use carefully : Not a Qlik Product, Not supported.

For an utilization with Qlik Sense Desktop, use it in an external browser (Chrome or Mozilla).

Now, script variables are deleted when you export an app without data. It wasn't the case before to get this option. I recommend to have this approach. It should consume less resources.

Hi,

"WithDave" has created a chrome bookmark (bookmarklet) that allow us to delete all the variables from QS apps.

I tried it with QS Nov-21 and it is working fine.
You just need to add the bookmarklet to your chrome bookmarks tab and when you are at the QS app, open the variables editor and hit the bookmark.
