Articles seem to disappear
For example I'm trying to search for the blog 'Custom Reports'. Its not there
So I locate it using my contribution. I eventually find it but can't open it
I have tried on three different browsers. Over about a week now
In general I liked the previous forum. Its wasn't perfect. But this one ...
Apart from articles disappearing. Its so slow to respond, search is not great and the options and layout are inferior to what we had before.
Hello again @robert99
Found it! https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/Qlik-Sense-Custom-Report/ba-p/1471797
For some reason (that I'm taking up with our tech-guy as soon as he wakes up) it had been caught in the Spaq filter, which is why it wasnt displayed properly.
I've released it now so you can view and access it!
All the best

Hello @robert99
We're still working on fixing some of the "post-launch teething issues" we're seeing in the new Community. The search functionality and functions in the Community will only improve over time as we keep working on it. So even though it's not 100% optimal at the moment, it has the potential to be and that's what we're aiming for.
Regarding your search for the "Custom Reports". Can you shed more light on where this resides, or perhaps share the link you (ultimately) found. I'd like to understand why it doesn't show up when you search for it.
Best regards
-Mattias
Hi Mattias
Thanks for responding
It was a BLOG post by JMC - Employee.
Some other points.
In the old community it was possible to copy and post from the snipping tool. I can't do it now. Its a hassle to save and then browse etc. Is this going to come back. As I like posting screen shots but saving etc is just too time consuming?
There use to be a home page. That had a overview of new blog posts etc. This was really good
Also there was a separate section to find 1 My posts 2 My contributions and 3 all posts in date order etc. Once again this was great. Now I have to go into My profile to see my posts and if I post on one thread 5 times it appears 5 times.
It general this community doesn't feel like a community. (Its more like a searching tool even though I have found this searching option inferior to the old one). Whereas before it did (feel like a community).
BTW it has been an ongoing issue right from the start
Its not just Custom Reports. Refer the post above re canonical dates. Posts seem to come and go
Custom reports was missing then returned and now missing again
Hello again
Is it this one? : https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/Custom-Report-Extension/ba-p/1466079
If so I used the "Custom Reports" and chose the location of "Blogs" and with the "JMC" as the author.
Regarding the copy/past from the clipboard/snipping tool - I could not agree more, and it's something we already have reported back as a desired function to the vendor. I find it very cumbersome to sit and upload images the current way so I 110% agree.
As for your other suggestions I'll bring them back to the tesm and we'll see if we can incorporate some or all of them in our next phase of improvements and developments for the Community. We are actively looking to improve the experience so all constructive feedback like this is extremely appriciated.
All the best

"Funny" you should say that. I actually raised that very topic earlier today as well.
We'll open up a ticket with the vendor to investigate the root cause for this.

No its not the VIEW article. I was also able to find this one
It was a recent article posting relating to Sense. Posted about 2 weeks back. Just before the changeover

It also appears as the first result without having any additional filters or selections applied to the search tool.
