As we close out another incredible year in the Qlik Community, we're thrilled to spotlight someone whose consistency, passion, and dedication have stood out month after month. For more than 16 years, Hugo has woven Qlik into nearly every part of his life, from his early days in QlikView 8.5 to the cloud-focused ecosystem he works in today. He’s topped our Community leaderboards for the past six months, helping members solve problems, uncover insights, and build better solutions together. His impact is unmistakable, and it’s only fitting that he’s our December 2025 Featured Member.
Hugo leads support operations and AWS infrastructure at IPC Global, managing a distributed team across Brazil and the U.S. But ask him why he shows up in the Community, and he’ll tell you it’s simple: “People genuinely appreciate any help they receive, and that encouraged me to participate more.” That spirit of contribution extends across everything he does in the Community, including the French and Spanish forums, where he challenges himself to practice new languages while helping others along the way.
Outside of Qlik, Hugo volunteers at his Church and his kids’ school, serves as a Scoutmaster, and plays in a weekly 40+ basketball group. He’s also a proud Qlik swag ambassador, sporting t-shirts and his laptop bag on client visits!
