The future is bright! You still need special glasses to look at an eclipse safely; in business, you need Qlik for trusted governance so your AI doesn't burn your retinas. Welcome Saugata Saha!

Bem-vindo, Saugata Saha! 🚀📊

Love a good analogy 😎!
Qlik shines! Welcome to the golden team. Let's schedule some lunch together to talk about interests outside work (that was edited out of the video 😀), and how we are adding value to our customers.

Saugata Saha, congratulations on stepping into the CEO role.

Your recent point about AI being the engine and data being the fuel really resonated with me. The real challenge right now isn't just choosing an AI model—it's about figuring out how to bring them together in a way that's properly governed, trustworthy, and under control. Honestly, too many discussions get stuck on the models themselves, when the real challenges are data quality, meaning, and following the right rules.

I also really admired your focus on unlocking the value that's already locked up in an organization's existing data, rather than just creating more data.
It's a practical, business focused approach to AI that anyone working with data can understand and relate to.

From a leadership perspective, your plan to spend the first 90 to 100 days listening to customers, partners, and employees before making moves is refreshing.
It shows a thoughtful, patient way of growing the business.

Working in business intelligence and data modernization, I really like seeing a roadmap that focuses on:

- Delivering AI that's trusted and well governed
- Turning raw data into real decisions
- Relying heavily on partner ecosystems
- Having a clear and strong vision

It feels like Qlik is moving beyond traditional analytics and focusing on how to responsibly use AI at scale.

My question for you: As AI models become more of a standard choice, where do you see Qlik standing out over the next 3 to 5 years?
Is it in data integration, governance, AI-driven insights, or something completely different?

Welcome Saugata. You've got a top Product is Qlik Sense that, at least in the UK, so many people working in data haven't heard about due to dominance of Microsoft. How do you think you can turn that tide? Any plans to get free software into the hands of more students and learners so they enter the market with awareness of Qlik?

Also, as a Talend user, I'd love to know more about how you plan to integrate the power and tools of the studio product into the cloud so that the set up and use is seamless.

All the best.
