I have used filter panes in one of my sheet in qliksense. One of the filters is to select Gender. The filed name in my data source is Gender and it has rows for F (as female) and M( as male). Previously, I had this expression behind my filter 
if(Gender='F','Female',if(Gender='M','Male')). it works fine.

Now user wants that every time they open the sheet it filters out the report automatically or by default to Male. and later, if they need then change and select the Female option in the filter.

I have set this variable in the main section in data load editor SET vDefaultFilter='Male', and modify the expression like this: if(Gender='F','Female','$(vDefaultFilter)')

the expression says ok but it does not filter data by default to Male. I still need to go and select Male option.

could someone help please?

I have a fact table (f_table) and dimension table (d_table) with below fields.

f_table: country_cd, measure_1

d_table: country_cd, country_desc

In Qlik Sense data manager, I associate both the tables on country_cd field. 

Now I add a bar chart to display measure_1 against country_desc. There are many country codes in my fact table which are not in dimension table. All these are displayed against '-' in my bar chart. But I want to display it as 'Unknown'.

I tried changing the dimension (in bar chart) from just "country_desc" to "if(isnull(country_desc), 'Unknown',country_desc)" but it does not help.

I have a table of questions and answers from an account.
Some questions are multi choice and I would like to have a line for each of them.

For example:
QUESTION ID, ANSWER
1, Yes
2, No
3, 1^5^10

For question 3, it is a multi-choice question where the user has selected 3 answers.

I would like to obtain the following final table:

QUESTION ID, ANSWER
1, Yes
2, No
3, 1
3, 5
3, 10

How could I get it?

I want to be able to find duplicated records within a table with around 100 fields.

I have a table with over 100 fields and i have a script that finds duplicated ID's but I want to know which field is responsible for the duplication.

Here is an example the ID is the same so as the cost but the number is different.

Any help ill be great.

I want my users to be able to add a favorite that selects all the elements in a column > 90. But when I try this, and select 'select all the possible values', it selects all the values of the column without taking in consideration the >90.

I'm working on converting some reports from QlikView over to SSRS.

I'm looking for this calculation in particular (screenshot). I know that REMAINING_HOURS is not an actual column in the OPERATION table in the database and that there's a calculation being done to get REMAINING_HOURS.  I can't find how it's being calculated though.

When I go to Edit Scripts... and look at the Operation tab, I don't see anything referencing REMAINING_HOURS.

I'll also say that Production Schedule is a report within this .qvw and that I'm also not a frequent or seasoned user of QlikView.

Could anyone point me towards where I can view how this field is being calculated?

I am new to administration for Qliksense. I published an app from Dev (QMC2) into Prod (QMC) which overwrote it. That was the wrong app so I am being told to revert back to the previous version of the app. How can I do that? Is it possible?
