Map debug center coordinates

I can see the center coordinates of a mapchart when i turn on DEBUG.. 

Can i retreive the mapchart center: LAT,LONG coordinates from the mapchart for use in a variable.

variable vMAPLAT = @debug center:LAT

variable vMAPLONG = @debug center: long
