Hi everyone

We are facing the following issue. When a client uses "Open in Server Procedure" the license lease for 30 days message appears as is supposed to be. but everytime the user restars QV Desktop the license is back to Personal Edition so the license lease is not working as expected, does anybody knows what could be the problem.

Regards!

Have you checked the Licence Lease History in the QMC, under:

  • System
  • Licences
  • QlikView Server
  • Client Access Licences (CAL's)
  • History

This often can give clues, especially if a single User is trying lease a licence on more than 2 Machine ID's in less than 24 hours.

[Or are they using Virtual Desktops, or is the QV Desktop a Citrix App ?]

Do you know of the user has the correct access right to be able to save the information on disk? I have seen similar issues when you ex. has a policy preventing users to save on the C:.
