I have a table that looks like this:
Header 1 | Header 2 | Header 3 |
---|---|---|
%Category | %Name | %Expression |
order_support | Order Types | order_types={1} |
order_support | Order Status | order_status={1} |
store_locator | Store Types | store_types={1} |
If I expose %Name in a list box and manually select "Order Types", then create a bookmark, clear selections and apply the bookmark, "Order Types" gets selected once again, as expected.
However, if I select "Order Types" via a text/button object (which has a "Select in Field" action with %Name as the field and 'Order Types' as the search string), and then create the bookmark, clear selections and apply the bookmark, what happens is that every value that contains the word 'Order' and every value that contains the word 'Types' gets selected.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in bookmarks? What's weird is that when I make the 'Order Types' selection via the button action, I can verify thru a list box that the correct single selection is made. It's not until saving/restoring the selection with a bookmark that the selection goes crazy.
Thanks,
Steve
Can't reproduce this on QV11.20 SR3.
Could you post a small sample app that demonstrates this?
