Pie chart label display directly on the chart

Hi All

Mr Manish have offer me the solution for display label directly on the pie chart on below link :-

Due to my expression is not Sum(sales) and it very complicated and long. So i use below expression instead.

Dual(Exec P&L Heading_,SUM(column(1)))

But the label does not able to display it out. I saw it display as "-"

Hi Paul,

Just use this

=[Exec P&L Heading_]

Also the label values are not displayed correctly since there are many slices, but you can see them when you hover on the slice.  Instead you can show the values and labels in Legend like below instead of showing along with value.

Chart Properties -> Presentation -> Select Show Legend option.

Thank you for your offer , i have check the QV doc  , it display the value amt on each of the slice , which is not what i want , i need to display the label name , like salary , gen exp , etc
