User Group Configuration - Security Restriction

Hi All ,

I have a set of Reports and Dashboards Configured . Now I want to configure user groups and assign security to access relevant reports and dashboards

I am completely new to qlikview and don't have any idea on how to implement this

Can anyone guide me on the step - by - step process to achieve this functionality and also please share any docs showcasing the security capabilities of Qlikview as a tool

Thanks for the quick response . The links you shared are resourceful .

I have another specific requirement to achieve . I have a user where need to see data relevant to only one brand and one country .. can we filter our  dimensions accordingly when he logs in .. ??

If so . Please guide me through the process

Yes Possible ,

You need to apply section access.

Hi,

Do you have publisher? If not you can set NTFS permission on the files. You would remove everyone and assign the groups to the file. If you have publisher you can do it during the distribution of the QVW.
