Qliksense desktop import from Alteryx Database (.yxdb)??

Hi, does Qliksense support an import from Alteryx Database file (extension .yxdb)? And if so, how can it be done? Thanks!

According to their community and what I read, there is no ODBC for connecting to yxdb files. However, they have an output tool that will let you write data in plenty of formats (many of then can be accessed by QlikView):

downloads.alteryx.com/Alteryx8.6.2/WebHelp/DbFileOutput.htm

I think you will need to do this in Alteryx designer or any of their products

hope this helps

I am not familiar with Alteryx Database, but ODBC or OLEDB are common way of accessing data base servers. Alternatively is to use a custom connector that pulls data from a system into QlikView

Looking at Qlik Market there appears to be some content related to Alteryx. Could this be what you are looking for?

Qlik does not support yxdb, but Alteryx 9.0 and greater does output to Qlik's QVX format via the output tool.   You can check out some examples of Alteryx and Qlik integration by downloading the Visual Analytics Kit

I opted to output the database as a .qvx file from Alteryx and was able to load it in Qliksense. Thanks Jaime!
