Hi all,
I've run into a more design issue that's really irritating:
I have a dimension group that goes from Nation to province to city. The number of labels on the x-axis ofcourse increase. For example, 1 nation, 11 provinces, 400 cities.
The problem I run into is that i want the labels horizantally displayed when de dimension is nation, and tilted vertically when the dimension is province or city (for readability). I use a bar chart by the way and have 2 expessions.
Is this possible in qlikview?
The easiest way to make sure the labels are readable is to change the orientation of the bar chart from vertical to horizontal. You can change this setting on the Style tab of the charts properties window.
If you want to do this the hard way you can muck around with macro's to change the orientation of the labels.
