We have developed a QlikView dashboard that loads data from a qvd file and also creates its own in-line data tables from scripts. When the data is reloaded, the data presented in the dashboard is updated and shows the expected values. If the dashboard is then saved, closed and reopened, the data presented in the dashboard reverts back to previous values.
In an attempt to debug the dashboard a copy was taken and all objects and variables were stripped out apart from one sheet. On this sheet a simple sum of a data field from the qvd data was presented in a simple chart table. Again, this value updated after a reload and then changed once the file was saved, closed and reopened.
A brand new dashboard was created and all the same scripts were copied to it from our original dashboard. This dashboard also presented a simple sum of the same data field from the qvd data on a single sheet. On this dashboard the expected value is displayed following a data reload and does not change once the file is saved, closed and reopened.
Could anyone offer any explanation/solution for the issue we are experiencing with the original dashboard?
