Hi All,
I am trying to create a ppt report using NPrinting. The requirement is that i want to show a chart, filtered on the basis of different values in a Field. Chart outcome for every value in that field should be copied on a new sheet. So basically the report should loop through a field and create a single ppt with number of sheets equivalent to number of values in that field.
I tried using Cycle feature but it creates new ppt altogether for every value of that field.
Please help and let me know if the problem statement isn't clear.
Regards,
Deepak
Hi Deepak,
In order to obtain a single ppt report with different slides, one for each value of a specific field, you have to use the the page feature inside the template editor instead of the report cycle functionality.
With the page feature you can:
- create a different slide for each value of a field
see http://community.vizubi.com/knowledgebase/articles/261109
- create a different slide for each combination of multiple fields (e.g. using a tablebox)
see http://community.vizubi.com/knowledgebase/articles/346263
- create a different set of slides for each single value of a field or for each combination of multiple fields
see http://community.vizubi.com/knowledgebase/articles/403236
hope this helps.
