OEM Cal Issue

Hi community,

in an OEM environnment, what I need to do to give access to an application for a user ? (like doc cal in SBE)

Where can I defined who access to my application ?

I've 0 Document/Usage/Session CAL available, but it's normal for an OEM server I think.

After created a local user and be logged to the accespoint, I've got this error when I try to open an application with a user :

Access denied! THe server (QVS) has no USER CAL for your account. Please contact your system administrator.

My local directory is known, I'm log on the accespoint with the user account.

This user account can log himself in RDP, open the application on the server, but not in Accespoint.

Thanks for your help,

have a good day,

Mickaël.

Mickael,

I don't think it is normal unless in LEF you see "UNCAPPED;;YES;" aka unlimited, if you do not have anything like that you still need CALs to give access to your users. I would suggest to go to your partner manager about this.

Hi Giuseppe,

thanks for your answer.

The problem was on the licence key, without doc CAL information as you said.

After an update by our partner manager, everything worked fine.

Thanks;

Mickaël.
