Hi,

I was wondering if qvs.exe return some status for a corrupt qvs.exe file and using that status we can send an email. I am trying to create a batch file that runs daily and check the integrity of all *.shared files. If a file is found to be corrupt, I want an email to be sent so that we are informed about it

Hi,

You can look at the system monitor It will show when there is possible issues. You should be able to setup an alert when it see the issue.

Hello Arif,

Which version of QlikView Server are you using? as the latest ones are much better for shared objects, check the release notes to see if its worth an upgrade.

You can also search the community for the PowerTools and there is a specific tool to find and repair shared objects (not that they should get corrupt, but it does/did happen).

You might be able to get a trigger or automatic action from that?
