Direct Discovery Executes on a Hidden Table?

Im trying to confirm if Direct Discovery executes whether or not the table is set to conditionally hide?  Currently it appears to execute regardless of the visible status.

Anyone know if there is a way to make sure it only executes if visible?

Do you also have the calculation condition set to the same condition?

I tend to always set these two conditions in tandem, so if a table is not

shown it also explicitly doesn't calculate.
