open pdf/doc file from AccessPoint

Hi, I try to open doc/pdf files.

I have a straighttable with expression: DOCNAME &'<url>'&DOCPATH.

and I have text object with actions->Launch->Application (........).

All files located on different server. When I open qvw document from desktop, doc/pdf file is opened. But if use AccessPoint, doc/pdf file isn't opened.

Can anyone help me?

u have to save ur app & doc both in same folder of server path and see?

Ensure that the Folder of the server where the pdf's are located is shared with the QVWS server.

Hi Tatsiana,
opening Applications is not supported by the Ajax Client.
Sorry.

And locations on different servers is not possible at all due to xss security reasons.
You'd need to code your own little extension (or get it coded) for that, involving some serverside or ActiveX technologies. That depends on your environment.
